The pattern includes 3 sizes. The main instructions is for 36x42 with additional 24x28 and 48x56. Adding borders give your the flexibility of anything in between.
The pattern first uses a strip cutting table to show how many strips to cut of each color. Then you will use a set of tables to cross cut the strips into varying lengths and label alphabetically. Finally follow a full page color image of the Gnome with the labeled pieces to assemble the top row by row. The shaping is done with "trim and flip" half square triangles.
