This is a surprisingly simple design for such a cute Dragon quilt. It is put together in a stripped and pieced method. Dragons are a great design to have some fun with your fabric color, really get creative. My son said fierce dragons are red.

With the multiple sizes this quilt is a great one for baby, or big brother. Just add borders and make it a twin for big brothers bed.

This pattern is traditionally pieced, not applique.
The pattern uses charts telling you how many strips to cut for each color. Then another set of charts giving the length of the pieces. The shaping is done using quick corner triangles, or the "snowball method".
Once the pieces are cut you just follow a full page color picture "map" showing how the puzzle goes together using your alphabetically labeled pieces. Putting the top together row by row.
If you can sew a true 1/4 inch seam you can put this quilt top together.
