Bright, Fun, Alpaca Quilt Pattern. The pattern comes in multiple sizes. The main instruction is for a 36x42 crib size baby quilt, but it also comes with alternate smaller and larger sizes. The small 24x28 great for a wall hanging or as part of a larger quilt. The large 48x56 makes a great Throw quilt or add some borders to make it a twin or even center of a full bed.

This is a great pattern to get creative with your fabric choices, and to pull out your scraps with many of the details needing only 1/4 yd or less. I really enjoyed looking for the perfect cactus fabric and for the blanket over his back.

This pattern is made in the traditional Counted Quilts method. The fabric is cut into 3 size strips, then cross cut into varying lengths, labeled alphabetically. The shaping is done with half square triangles in the quick corner method. (search Counted Quilts of YouTube for instructional videos). Then you will follow a full page color "map", labeled image, of the alpaca sewing it together piece by piece, row by row.

Making this a great quilt pattern for beginning quilters, straight cutting and straight seams.
