 •  This is a great pattern to get creative with your fabric choices, and to pull out your scraps with many of the details needing only 1/4 yd or less. I really enjoyed looking for the perfect cactus fabric and for the blanket over his back.
 •  This pattern is made in the traditional Counted Quilts method. The fabric is cut into 3 size strips, then cross cut into varying lengths, labeled alphabetically. The shaping is done with half square triangles in the quick corner method. (search Counted Quilts of YouTube for instructional videos). Then you will follow a full page color "map", labeled image, of the alpaca sewing it together piece by piece, row by row.
