Applique Zipper Pouch Embroidery Project

Stitching line for zipper, lay the zipper face up on line (I use tape to hold in place). Don’t let any metal parts of the zipper near the line.

Lay one 4 1/2 block folded in half on the stitching line. Tape in place.

Repeat #2 with the other side of the zipper.

Tear away from stabilizer.

Lay one of the 4 1/2 blocks sprayed with fast tack (or whatever you use) and stitch out the design. 

Lay a 4 1/2 block on the underside of your hoop (this is for the lining) unzip the zipper half way or where ever placement works. Lay upside down on top, and tape in place. Stitch final stitching around design. Tear away from the stabilizer, an trim close to the stitching line. Turn right side out.
