Decorative Candle Reflector Embroidery Project

Description

  • Wash-away stabilizer
  • Thread for designs
  • Bridal tulle

    Step 1:
    Hoop stabilizer and place on machine. Cut 2 pieces of tulle and lay flat over hoop making sure tulle covers hoop. Stitch first CC (color change). This will tack down tulle and hold in place.

    Step 2:
    Stitch CC2, this is the decorative back ground stitching, this helps stabilize the tulle. After stitching this color remove hoop from machine and trim the tulle close to stitching being careful not to cut threads.

    Step 3:
     
    Follow color changes for the design your stitching.

    Step 4:
    The last CC, this is the satin stitch finish around the edge.

    Step 5:
     
    After stitching all pieces follow directions for removing stabilizer.

    Step 6:
     
    Joining: there several different ways to join the pieces, below is just one way that I do. You can use the way you like best that is the easiest for you.

    Step 7:
    Match up side bottom to side of bottom and zig-zag the 2 pieces together, do this for all 4 sides.

    Step 8:
    Then fold up 2 sides so that wrong sides are together and starting at top zig-zag down to bottom. Do this for the remainder of the other sides.
