Lace Flip Flop Charms Embroidery Project

Once the design is done embroidering, remove from the machine and trim the excess solvy around the outside of the design.

Then add hot/warm water to your container. The water should be high enough in the bowl so that the entire lace heart will be submerged.

Place your lace design inside the container. Let the design soak for about 10-15 minutes. This will remove the solvy from the design.

Remove the design from the water and place on paper towel to dry, making sure that it is flat.

Cut a piece of cord 8" long.

Add beads to the center of the cord.

Tie 3 knots together at the ends of the beads creating a loop. dab a small amount of glue on your knot to hold the cord together. Let glue dry.

Approximately 1 1/4" from the beads tie 3 knots together. This will create the end of the cord.

Take your lace charm and place a jump ring through the eyelet hole. Then place it around the beads on the cord. Use the needle nose pliers to open and close the ring for this step.

Place it on your flip flop with the beads in the middle of the strap. Wrap the cord around the underside of the strap and around the charm to secure it to your flip flop. Now it's time to go and enjoy the fun!
