Hoop one piece of
tear away backing in your hoop. Then sew the 1st color stop which is the
dieline. (You can use this as a template to both cut the front and back
appliqué pieces.)

Step 2:
After the dieline has
sewn, stop the machine. The back appliqué piece will go on next. Place
the back appliqué piece face down and spray adhesive around the edges of
the appliqué fabric except for the bottom opening where your hand will
go.
Place the back appliqué piece face up within the dieline.

Start the machine again and embroider the design until the next appliqué placement stop.
Step 4:
Remove the hoop from your machine and the design from the hoop.
Carefully tear away the backing from the design and set the design aside
until later.

Step 6:

machine. The front appliqué piece will go on next. Place the front
appliqué piece face down and spray adhesive around the edges of the
appliqué fabric except for the bottom opening where your hand will go.
Place the front appliqué piece face up within the dieline.

Start the machine again and embroider the design until the next appliqué placement stop.
Step 8:
Remove the hoop from your machine. Do not unhoop the design.
Turn
the hoop over so you are looking at the back of the design. You will
now place the back appliqué piece on the back of the design in the hoop.
First turn the back appliqué piece face down & spray adhesive
around the edges except for the bottom which will be the opening for
your hand.

Step 9:
Place the bottom appliqué piece on the back of the design making sure
that the appliqué piece is secure and will not fall off when you return
the hoop to the machine.

Embroider the last color stop and remove the design from the hoop.

Carefully remove the tear away backing from the puppet.
