Embroidery machine

Embroidery thread

Fabric glue

2 - pieces of cutaway backing

2 - pieces of neoprene fabric 7" x 5"

Spray adhesive

Scissors

Fabric marker

Larger needles (we suggest #16)

Step 1:

Open and print Bottle Koozie Template PDF file. You will need an 8 1/2" x 11" paper. Use this template to cut your 2 neoprene fabric pieces.

Step 2:

Spray one piece of cutaway backing with spray adhesive.

Step 3:

Place the second piece of cutaway backing on top of the sprayed piece and press down firmly.

Step 4:

Hoop the 2 pieces of backing.

Step 5:

Sew the first color stop.

Step 6:

Place one of the neoprene fabric pieces face down and spray the back only.

Step 7:

Place the sprayed neoprene square down onto the backing inside the dieline.

Step 8:

Sew the design until you reach the color stop that asks you to "Stop place applique".

Step 9:

Place one of the neoprene pieces face up and spray the left and right sides only or you can use fabric glue.

Step 10:

Place the sprayed neoprene square face to face with the embroidered neoprene piece.

Step 11:

Sew the last color stop to sew the 2 sides together.

Step 12:

Remove the koozie from the hoop.

Step 13:

Gently tear or cutaway the backing from the koozie.

Step 14:

Turn the koozie inside out.

Step 15:

Place your new koozie onto your bottle and enjoy.
