Use ultra solvy or another brand of heavy solvy. Thin solvy will tear and not embroider well. We used transparent spool & bobbin thread to sew the pieces
together on the sewing machine. You could use the same color of thread
as you used to embroider the designs with, if you would like.
The first part of this project is to embroider all designs for your basket(s). Images below are of a design from the Lace Friendship Bracelets, but the same instructions apply for the Easter Basket designs also. Cut a piece of Ultra or other heavy solvy that is a little larger than your hoop.
Step 2:

Hoop solvy making sure that it is hooped very tightly.
Step 3:

Place hoop onto your machine and embroider the lace design of your choice.
Step 4:

Once the design is done embroidering remove from the machine and trim the excess solvy around the outside of the design.
Step 5:

Then add hot/warm water to your container. The water should be high
enough in the bowl so that the entire lace bracelet will be submerged.
Step 6:

Place your lace design inside the container. Let the
design soak for about 10-15 minutes. This will remove the solvy from
design.
Step 7:

Remove the design from the water and blot dry with the paper towel. Now
place the design on wax paper and spray each side literally with your
spray starch.
Step 8:
Place another piece of wax paper on top of the design.
To make sure the design dries flat add a heavy book(s) on top and leave
it there for 12 to 24 hours. See your spray starch instructions.

This stage of the project is to assemble the Easter Basket 1. Please see below for tips on sewing Easter Basket 2 and Easter Basket 3. For this step you will need
the bottom and 4 side panels. The bottom will be face up and the sides
will be face down when you sew them together. Sew each of the 4 sides to
the bottom pieces as shown.
Step 10:

For this step you will need the three handle pieces, 1 has a circle in
the center and will be the top/middle of the handle. The other 2 should
have a flower on each and will be the sides of the handle.
With all three pieces facing up sew the two side handle pieces to the top handle piece on each side, one at a time.
Step 11:

You will now sew the handle to the basket.
First sew one side of the handle to the center of a side panel. Then on
the opposite side sew the other handle to the center of that side panel.
Step 12:

Now sew the 4 corners together.
Step 13:

This stage of the project is to assemble the Easter Basket 2.
Sew the side panels together first, but do not sew the last 2 panels together yet.
Step 14:
Sew the side panels to the bottom of the bowl, matching up the bottom of each side to a flat side of the bottom of the basket.
Step 15:
Sew the last 2 side panels together.
Step 16:
Sew the 3 handle pieces together.
Step 17:
Sew the handle to the basket.
