First spray one piece of tear away backing with your spray adhesive.

Place second piece of backing directly on top of the sprayed side of backing.

Hoop the 2 pieces of backing.

Embroider the entire design and then remove it from the hoop.

Very carefully tear away the excess backing from around the mask, the eyes and cord holes.

Thread elastic cording through holes in mask, but do not secure yet. You
will want to hold the mask up to the person's head that will wear the
mask and measure the correct length of elastic cording.

Now cut the cord to the correct length.

Then you will need to place a secure knot in the cording.
