Description

Celebrate Día de los Muertos with this colorful Sugar Skull ITH Mug Rug. A vibrant in-the-hoop embroidery project decorated with flowers and swirls, perfect for festive home décor, gifts, or as a fun seasonal stitch.

Materials

Fabric

Batting

Glue

Final Product: What You Will Create

Step 1:

Stitch the placement line for the batting

Step 2:

Place the batting on the top of the hoop

Step 3:

Stitch the batting down and remove the hoop from your machine and trim the batting close to the stitch

Step 4:

Place the fabric on top of the hoop covering the placement line, and stitch it.

Step 5:

Follow the machine steps and stitch the appliqués and details, stop before the last step

Step 6:

Put two pieces of fabric over it an stitch the fabrics down!

Step 7:

Remove the hoop from the machine and trim the borders. Turn it to the right side!
