Remove project from hoop and cut away stabilizer from around the project…leave about ¼ inch to avoid accidently cutting the border stitches.

Let dry and your phone pocket is ready for you to add the strap.

    Step 26:

If you use a fabric strap cut fabric as indicated in the table at the beginning of these instructions. Fold and press in half, then fold each side to the center pressed line and press again. Un- fold the strap and fold the raw edge ends inward and upward-press again. Using a sewing machine, sew two lines of stitching down the outside of the strap. You will need two sets of Kam Snaps to attach the strap to the phone pocket. Follow the application instructions that came with the Kam Snaps.

    Step 27:

If you choose to use a vinyl strap, cut the vinyl as indicated in the table at the beginning of these instructions. Fold the vinyl in half and using a sewing machine, sew a decorative stitch down the middle to secure the strap. Kam Snaps or Swivel Hooks can be used on the vinyl straps. You will need two Swivel Hooks and two eyelets (or grommets). Thread the strap through the Swivel Hook and tack down to hold-I used a regular sewing machine stitch to attach the hooks. The eyelets are the type you would use on belts to re-inforce the belt holes. Grommets can also be used in place of the eyelets and come in various sizes. If you use eyelets or grommets, follow the instructions that come with themusually on the back of the bubble-card to which they are attached.
