Blank tote bags offer a wide array of creativity as you can create/personalize with so many embroidery designs to choose from. These blank totes are created with grocery shopping in mind. Skill level states some experience for the reason that as an option you can enlarge your design by using your machine’s editing feature but if you are just beginning to machine embroider why not challenge your beginning skills with this project. Time stated of 1 hour is maximum time per bag based on design and size. Grocery Embroidery Design 5.99" x 3.26 was used.
Step 1:
Gather all supplies and review instructions before beginning.

Step 2:
Print out paper template of embroidery designs.

Step 3:
Load “Fresh Eggs” embroidery design into your machine. (Optional: Enlarge your design by 25% per your machine’s editing instructions)

Step 4:
Hoop stabilizer using correct hoop for the design size. Mark all axis points directly onto stabilizer to help with the centering of tote bag

Step 5:
Find center of fabric tote bag by finger pressing/iron pressing a creased crosshair. Folding bag in half then quarter fold.

Step 6:
Center position embroidery design paper template. Mark axis points. Spray temporary adhesive spray directly onto stabilizer. Center place tote bag matching axis points. Finger press down onto stabilizer to secure in place. Use tape/clamps to keep excess fabric out of embroidering area.

Step 7:
Attach hoop to your machine. Confirm center needle placement. (needle is centered over creased crosshair) Refer to design thread color chart or your choice of thread colors. Begin embroidering process. Embroidering complete. Remove hoop. Cut and trim all jump stitches and loose thread ends. Front and back. Remove stabilizer.

Step 8:
And you are done! Congratulations! Stand back and admirer your handiwork. Repeat steps 3-7 for your second grocery bag with the Grocery Embroidery Design and as you know we always need more than one bag to grocery shop!
