This tutorial will show a simple technique in how to layer/align when cutting of two colors of vinyl to produce one decal for application. *Basic knowledge of the usage of a cutting machine, how to cut SVG designs using two colors of vinyl and to weed for decal is required. Time stated of 45 minutes is for one (1) mug.
Step 1:
Gather all supplies and review instructions before beginning.

Step 2:
Bring in SVG design Lucky Irish into your design space. Add registration marks by drawing a square at the top of one side of design, then copy and bring over to other side and align. The registration marks will help when layering of the two colors of vinyl to align when creating into one decal. Resize cut design to approximately 4” x 4.5”. Prepare your two colors of vinyl to cut designs. Cut design. Refer to design for colors. When cutting of the second color vinyl make sure the registration marks stay in the same position. Step 3:
Position transfer tape to cover the cut horseshoe/ Irish weeded design. As this is the design you want to layer with the other cut design to create the one decal. Use your scraper if needed. Carefully remove the adhesive backing to expose the registration marks. Trim that piece of excess back paper. Match up the registration marks to the other cut design and slowly peel back paper over that design. You now have a layered two color vinyl decal.

Step 4:
Trim off registration marks. Slowly remove adhesive backing. Position and place decal on to your glass mug.

Step 5:
Carefully peel away transfer tape ensuring that decal sticks to the glass mug. And Viola you are done! Repeat these steps for the other SVG design Happy St. Patrick's Day.
