Stitch AssistantRECOMMENDED
Get the exact stabilizer, machine settings, needle, and thread color sequence for every embroidery design you purchase — based on that design's stitch density, dimensions, and color count.
Gather all your materials and read through the instructions before you begin. Have a copy of the color sequence on hand for the embroidery stitch out.

Step 2:
Hoop your stabilizer and drill fabric. I have made 3 coasters so I cut a 10” square to fit 3 designs and hooped the fabric with the stabilizer. You will need to adjust this to suit how many you wish to make. Load your design and stitch out the design.

Step 3:
Mark 4 ½” squares around each design and cut. So this means your embroidered square is 4 ½” wide x 4 ½” high

Step 4:
From the printed fabric, cut 6” x 6” squares. From the fusible fleece cut 5 3/8” x 5 3/8” squares.

Step 5:
Lay the fusible fleece adhesive side down to the wrong side of the printed cotton and press to adhere to the printed cotton

Step 6:
Lay the embroidered panel ontop, right side up. Then fold up the bottom of the printed cotton by 10mm then fold 10mm again and clip to hold. For the corners, simply fold over the same and ensure the raw edges are tucked in. You could fold a mitre corner if you wish but I have chosen a simple way to finish the corners. Continue all the way around.

Step 7:
Using your sewing machine, pin stitch all the way around, ensuring you stitch the corners down to. For the corners, I simply stitched to the edge then backstitched and turned the coaster to continue stitching.
