Final Product: What You Will Create

    Preface:
Use two coordinate fall fabrics to create a fall Farmer’s Market shopping bag. Use fun fabrics like a plaid and grape whose colors coordinate. This is a great way to use up fabric in your stash and make a useful project.

    Step 1:
Read through the instructions thoroughly before beginning and assemble all the materials needed to complete the project. Choose embroidery threads and fabrics that coordinate.

    Step 3:
Load the design on the machine. Fold the outer fabric in half lengthwise; measure down 7” and in 9 ¾” and make a mark. This will be to center the design for stitching. Hoop the fabric with stabilizer, centering the mark in the hoop.

    Step 4:
Stitch color 1, the placement line. Center the wool felt over the placement line. Slow down the machine and stitch color 2, the tack down line. Remove the hoop from the machine and using applique scissors, trim the excess felt from the outside of the placement line.
