Toothbrush and Paste Towel Wrap Embroidery Project

Gather the materials and read through the instructions before beginning. Have a copy of the color sequence on hand to refer to

Turn up the bottom of your towel by 4 ½” to create the pocket for the toothbrush and pin in place. Turn the towel over and mark in from the left side 5” and up from the bottom fold 2 ½” which will be the center of the embroidery design. I have positioned the embroidery design to be over the pocket section.

Hoop the tearaway stabilizer then float the towel, to avoid towel burn, then lay the film over the top. I have used a tackdown stitch to hold the towel and film to the stabilizer. Stitch out the design and remove the film once complete. 

On the pocket side of the towel, make a mark at 2”, 4” and 6”. With your 2 pieces of ribbon, pin them down at the top of the pocket on the right hand side. Stitch down each side of the pocket, securing the ribbon, then stitch along the pocket at the 2”, 4” and 6” marks to form sections in the pocket. 

Roll it up, wrap the ribbon around and tie it up. Your toothbrush wrap is now complete!
