Step 1:
Read through the instructions thoroughly before beginning and assemble all the materials needed to complete the project. If desired, remove the words” Grandma’s Little” from embroidery design bn00547d. to do this, open the design and save it as a new file to preserve the original design. Select the text and delete.

Step 2:
Save the file once again and export the file for stitching. For this project, the Cowgirl Princess design 05565 was left as is, but the colors were changed.

Step 3:
To stitch the design on the shirt, measure from the arm seam to the button center; place a pin at the halfway point. It is best to have the child try on the shirt if possible, for proper placement. Otherwise measure down from the shoulder to the middle of the armhole. Hoop the shirt with poly mesh stabilizer, centering the mark.

Step 4:
Stitch the design with the chosen colors, following the color sequence.

Step 5:
Before starting to stitch, check under the shirt to be sure no fabric is under the hoop. This design stitches quickly.

Step 6:
After the design is finished, remove the shirt from the hoop; trim the stabilizer, leaving about ¼” around the entire design.

Step 7:
Heat up the hot fix tool. Select the crystals to be used for the design. Use the hot fix tool to apply the crystals as desired.

Step 8:
If doing the second shirt, measure, hoop, and stitch the design following the color sequence. Trim the stabilizer.

Apply hot fix crystals to the design as desired.

Step 10:
While the crystals are being applied, hoop two layers of fibrous water soluble stabilizer and stitch the FSL designs. For each hat, stitch one of wbe1672_001 and two of design wbe1672_003. After the designs stitch, dissolve the water soluble stabilizer and allow the designs to dry. Begin with the single center design and apply hot glue to the back.

Step 11:
Center the design at the center front of the hat as shown. Apply hot glue to the other two pieces and place one to each side of the center front design. Apply hot fix crystals as desired.
