Send a personalized keepsake message with one of our adorable Embroider Buddies. Their self-contained stuffing pods are removable through a hidden zipper, making hooping and embroidery easy on any embroidery machine.

Step 1:

Gather your supplies.

Step 2:

Remove the head and body stuffing pods. You can also wait to do this set until after you mark the center of your Embroidery Buddy.

Step 3:

Mark the center of your Embroider Buddy with painters tape. Use the seams as reference points for centering. We came down about 1” from the neck sea.

Step 4:

Spray the back of your cut away stabilizer with spray adhesive. Place your stabilizer inside the Buddy in the embroidery area.

Step 5:

Hoop your Buddy so that your inner ring is aligned with the painter's tape. Make sure you pull the edges of the Buddy out so that fabric is smoothed out.

Step 6:

After you are done setting up your Buddy to be embroidered, apply a piece of water-soluble stabilizer on top of the stitch area.

Step 7:

You are now ready to embroider.

Once you have finished embroidering your design, remove the excess stabilizer and reinsert your stuffing pods.
