Stitch AssistantRECOMMENDED
Get the exact stabilizer, machine settings, needle, and thread color sequence for every embroidery design you purchase — based on that design's stitch density, dimensions, and color count.
When embroidering or sewing vinyl, I always use a ball point needle
Step 1:
Gather the materials and read through the instructions before beginning. Have a copy of the color sequence on hand to refer to.

Step 2:
Either in your embroidery software program or on the machine, upload the design. I have reduced the size to 80%. Copy and paste the design and create a mirror image copy of the design, then turn one design 180 degrees. Position the designs in opposite corners of hoop.

Step 3:
Stitch out the designs. Remove the hoop from the machine and tearaway the stabilizer

Step 4:
Now cut the vinyl down the center to give you a pair of the design. Lay one on top of the other piece, aligning the designs, then pin in place.

Step 5:
For this step, I have free hand drawn this shape. I simply drew around the main design, then at the top, I have added a 6cm tab. Then on your sewing machine, sew around this shape through both layers of vinyl, again using a ball point needle.

Step 6:
Cut closely around the stitched outline. Attach the snap closure and keyring and fold over the tab to encase the keyring.

You have completed your double sided caravan keyring! Enjoy your travels.
