Final Product: What You Will Create

    Step 1:
Gather the materials and read through the instructions before beginning. Have a copy of the color sequence on hand to refer to

    Step 2:
From the natural colored fabric and the fusible fleece, cut a 9 ½” square. Load all 4 designs together so they all stitch at once. Hoop the tearaway stabilizer and float the fleece and fabric and use a tack down stitch to hold them down, you can hoop them if you wish you will just need to cut the square bigger. Stitch out the 4 designs.

    Step 3:
Cut out each design ensuring they are 4” in diameter. Cut 4 circles of the same size out of the backing fabric. Lay the embroidered design face up, on top of the backing fabric which is right side down.

    Step 4:
Stitch the binding onto the front of the coaster, ensuring your turn back 10mm at the start so it is not a raw edge. Once you stitch it to the front turn the binding towards the back. You will have approx 6mm of binding showing on each side of the coaster. Pin around the coaster, ensuring you catch the binding at the back, then stitch around the coaster again to secure the binding at the back. You could also hand stitch the binding on the back instead of this option. Repeat for all coasters

    Step 5:
Enjoy your new set of coasters! Like all handmade pieces, these coasters are also a great gift idea.
