    Step 2:
You’ll need two layers of fibrous water-soluble stabilizer for each stitch out you want to do.

    Step 3:
Depending on the hoop you’re using, you may be able to do two ornaments in a hoop. Load the design on the machine and duplicate the design. If you are stitching the same color for both ornaments, set the machine so it will sew in one color.

    Step 4:
Hoop the two layers of stabilizer, place the hoop on the machine and stitch the ornaments. It took about an hour for two ornaments to stitch.

    Step 5:
If desired, stitch the ornaments in different colors.

    Step 6:
After all the ornaments have stitched, generally cut out around the ornaments, and follow the instructions to dissolve the stabilizer. Rinse the pieces just so the stabilizer dissolves—most of it has to be left in so the ornaments will be stiff. Lay the ornaments out on a towel to dry.

    Step 7:
When the ornaments are about half way dry, place a piece of plastic wrap on a flat surface. Place a small puddle of the acrylic glitter paint on a paper plate. Dip the sponge brush in the paint and brush or dab it on the ornaments. Leave the ornaments to dry overnight.

Place the hooks on the ornaments and hang on the tree. These make great little gift items and folks are amazed they are made entirely out of thread.
