Christmas Cards Embroidery Project

Description

Handmade Christmas cards are always a winner! Use these beautiful designs to add a special touch to some blank cards

Materials
  • 5 ¼” square blank cards with envelopes
  • 1 square of blue felt
  • 1 square of white felt
  • Black, white, red, green and gold thread
  • Tearaway stabilizer
  • 16” white bobble trim
  • 13” gold piping trim and gold decorative flowers
  • Double sided tape
  • 4” hoop

    Preface:
    There are many designs which you could use for Christmas cards so be sure to search the site for your favorites!

    Step 1:
    Gather the materials and read through the instructions before beginning. Have a copy of the color sequence on hand for reference

    Step 2:
    Hoop the tearaway stabilizer and float the felt square. Attach the hoop to your machine and stitch out the designs

    Step 3:
    For the blue square, cut the piece down to a 4” square. For the white square, cut it as a circle leaving ¼” of felt around the design

    Step 4:
    Apply double sided tape to the back of both embroidered pieces and attach the trims to each design then position them on the front of a blank card and stick them down
