    Preface:
    Transform an old, plain jean jacket into a beautiful statement piece.

    Step 1:

    Our jacket had box pleats down the center back which was preventing us from pulling the fabric taught in out hoop. To create the smoothest surface for embroidery, I hand basted the box pleats closed.

    Step 2:
    Hoop your jacket with tearaway stabilizer and start stitching. When finished embroidering your designs, remove the hand basted stitches.
