Vintage Charm Camisole Embroidery Project

Description

Embellish a purchased camisole or tank top with a delicate vintage rose style embroidery design. Quick and easy !

  • A purchased camisole or tank top
  • Embroidery thread
  • Lightweight cutaway mesh stabilizer
  • Temp Adhesive Spray

    Preface:
    A purchased camisole or tank top makes this project quick and easy. The selected embroidery design gives it a “vintage look” charm. It’s so quick you’ll want to make more and with so many embroidery designs to choose from the Embroidery Design site, you can change the look! 

    Step 1:
    Gather all materials and review instructions before beginning.

    Step 2:
    Print out a template of the embroidery design. And center place on top of your purchased camisole or tank top. Mark center using a chalk or fabric erase pen.

    Step 3:
    Cut an oversized piece of tear-away stabilizer using your template as a size guide.

    Step 4:
    Turn your camisole/tank top inside out. Spray temp adhesive spray onto stabilizer. Place stabilizer on top covering the area to be embroidered. Fingertip press to secure.

    Step 5:
    Center hoop camisole/tank top using your machines hoop grid instructions. Attach the hoop to your machine and begin the embroidering process

    Step 6:
    Embroidering complete. Remove hoop. Cut all jump stitches and trim all loose thread ends. 

    Step 7:
    Your “Vintage” look camisole/tank top is now complete. Easy and quick!
