1 kitchen towel of your choice

Water Soluble Stabilizer (WSS)

Embroidery thread

Hem gauge or other small ruler

Final Product: What You Will Create

Preface:

Life at the lake should be easy. This cute towel spells out the rules and makes it clear that the lake is for fun!

Step 1:

Gather the materials and read through the instructions before beginning. Print out a paper template of the design and color sequence.

Step 2:

Using the hem gauge mark 2” from the lower edge of the towel to determine design placement.

Step 3:

Hoop the water soluble stabilizer (WSS) and the towel, lining up the 2” mark with the lower edge of the hoop.

Use the paper template to confirm design placement within the hoop.

Step 4:

Place your hooped project on the embroidery machine, checking center placement.

Remove the paper template, place a second sheet of WSS on top of the towel and stitch the design following color sequence.

Step 5:

Remove the project from the hoop and following manufacturer’s directions, remove the WSS from the top and back of the towel.

Step 6:

And you are finished! You now have a cute kitchen towel to use at the lake—just in case you need to be reminded of what the lake rules are!
