Make-Up Wash Cloths with Lip Design Embroidery Project

Gather all materials and review instructions before beginning.

If you have an embroidery sortware program import the lip design and using the software's available fonts add the work "make up" to create the design to stitch out.  If your machine has built inn lettering/fonts, load the lip design into your machine and edit to add your largest lettering per your machine's instructions.  You can also purchase fonts from the Embroidery Design website. 

To find center of wash cloth, fold in half lengthwise.  Then measure for length, mark center using chalk or air erase pen.

Cut a piece of tearaway and soluble stabilizer. Large enough to hoop. Place washcloth on top of tearaway stabilizer and place soluble stabilizer on top.  Use your hoop grid ( per your machine's instructions) to center and hoop all three layers.

Attach hoop to your machine.  Machine trace to ensure design fitting. Adjust if necessary. Begin embroidering process  

Embroidering complete.  Remove hoop from machine.  Clip all jump stitches and open thread ends.

Remove from hoop.  Remove all stabilizers.
