Description

Bring these Halloween dolls to life with Adventures in Stitcherland's Halloween Dolls Pack that includes 5 front and back embroidery designs for each character. This 360-degree experience makes these dolls a great toy for young ghosts and ghouls!

Materials
  • 1/4 yard Fabric for doll. We used a 100% cotton.
  • 5x7 hoop
  • Embroidery thread as stated in the design sequence
  • Poly Mesh Stabilizer
  • Poly-fill stuffing
  • Hand sewing needle and thread
  • Thread that matches your fabric

    Final Product: What You Will Create


    Step 1:
    Stitch out the front and back of your embroidery design using poly mesh to stabilize the design.


    Step 2:
    Mark ¾” around the front and back of your design stitch out.

    Step 3:
    Cut to this line.

    Step 4:
    Pin the designs right sides together aligning the arms and legs and head correctly.

    Step 5:
    Sew the front and back together with a .5” seam allowance. Make sure to leave a 2.5” opening at the bottom. You will need this to turn your design right side out.

    Step 6:
    Trim the fabrics to ¼” around the final stitching leaving around ½” of fabric at the opening to turn the doll. Notch around the curves for smoother turning of the doll. You are ready to turn your doll right side out.

    Step 7:
    You are ready to turn your doll right side out.

    Step 8:
    Stuff the doll to the desired firmness.

    Step 9:
    Turn in the opening seam allowances and hand stitch the opening shut.

    Step 10:
    That’s it! You’ve created a your dangerously cute
    doll. Have a Happy Halloween!
