Doggie Diaper Embroidery Project

Gather all supplies needed and read through the instructions.

Measure around the dog's middle.

Using a marking pen or chalk, draw the measurements of the Doggie Diaper that you need allowing a 5/8" seam on the long sides and 1/4" on the short ends. Be sure to mark where the Velcro will be stitched, as you will want the design stitched below it.

Hoop fabric with 2 pieces of tear away backing and place template inside hoop. Mark center, remove template and stitch out design.

Remove from hoop, trim jump stitches and carefully remove the backing, one piece at a time.

Cut the two pieces along the drawn lines.

Press seams open and turn right side out, turn in 1/4" on open end and stitch across to close opening.

Cut the Velcro (both parts) into 3 1/2" pieces long. Stitch Velcro across each end, one on the inside of the embroidered end. The other end should be stitched on the outside.

All that is left to do is to attach a pad. (I used a Poise pad).

This project was done in memory of our office mascot "Risky Business". A little dynamite weighting less than 5 pounds of total love. We love and miss you so much.
