FSL Princess Tiara with Crystals Embroidery Project

Hoop 2 layers of fibrous water soluble stabilizer making sure they are tight in the hoop and wrinkle free.

You can sprinkle a little glitter between the lays of stabilizer before hooping.

Load the design into your machine. Place matching polyester thread in the top needle and bobbin of your machine.

Sew out the design.

Remove the design from the hoop and trim stabilizer to about 1/2" around stitching.

Rinse following directions on stabilizer package. I usually run under warm water for about 1 minute leaving a little stabilizer in the design to help maintain the shape. Blot with a lint free towel.

While still wet sprinkle more glitter on the tiara so the glitter will stick to the sticky stabilizer still in the project.

Lay out tiara on a slightly rounded object to dry. I dried this on a plastic pitcher.

After the design is dry, lay the FSL Tiara on the pressing mat. Gather together the hot fix crystals, tweezers and BeJeweler on a work table. The pressing mat protects you work table from the heat of the BeJeweler. Lay out the crystals where you think they will look great and set the crystals. The crystals heat up in 3 to 5 seconds so don't leave the BeJeweler iron on the project for longer than that. Hold the iron upright to affix the crystals flat.

Attach a pretty ribbon or elastic so it can be worn by your favorite princess. They make great gifts also!
