Materials
  • 2 layers water soluble stabilizer
  • Embroidery thread
  • Netting
  • Potpourri
  • Ribbon

    Final Product: What You Will Create


    Step 1:
    Stitch out design on 2 sheets of water soluble stabilizer.


    Step 2:
    Cut excess stabilizer from the lace heart.


    Step 3:
    Trace around lace heart to make a template.


    Step 4:
    Trace around template on netting.


    Step 5:
    Example to heart traced on netting.


    Step 6:
    Sew heart leaving an opening and trim excess netting.


    Step 7:
    Turn trimmed heart pocket right side out.


    Step 8:
    Fill sparsely with potpourri.


    Step 9:
    Place potpourri pocket on back of fsl heart.
     


    Step 10:
    Center pocket on the fsl heart.


    Step 11:
    Stitch pocket to the fsl heart.


    Step 12:
    You will need to move the potpourri slightly as you stitch the pocket down.


    Step 13:

    Step 14:
    Cut a length of ribbon to use as a hanger.
