Measured each design before starting embroidering. Tried to get the pages set up the way that they needed to be in the completed book, but made some mistakes so had to cut each page & sew them together & I chose to use the bias tape for a quick fix!

Step 2:
Embroidered each design that I chose for the book, and also wrote the sayings on the pages!

Step 3:
This was the second book that I had done, but the first one was for a new born & I did get the designs done correctly for it. Had so many thoughts going through my head on what to write on each page! The grandmother of the baby had told me what she wanted on the back of the book!

Step 4:
After all the embroidery was done I cut the pages & ironed the HeatnBond on the back to stiffen the pages some, then sewed the bias tape around each page & then sewed them together! Many happy family members will now have a forever memory book to cherish!
I love doing my embroidery, especially when I can make something special to put a smile on some loved one's face. I also love to make gift baskets mostly for someone in need. Made 7 recently for the little ones that are with their Mom's at the Women's Shelter. Felt like they needed a travel pillow & a blanket with something embroidered on it plus monogrammed with their name so they could have something of their own to cuddle with! I feel so Blessed & it warms my heart to put a smile on those little faces!
