FSL Necklace Embroidery Project

Description

Add some pizazz to a simple gown with a Free Standing Lace necklace. These designs will make sure all eyes are on you.

  • Water Dissolvable Stabilizer
  • Robison-Anton Metallic Thread
  • FSL Neckline Flowers Embroidery Design
  • FSL Little Flower Neckline Embroidery Design
  • Needle Nose Pliers
  • Wire Cutters
  • Necklace Chain – 2 pieces 3.5” long
  • Necklace Clasp
  • Rhinestones or Swarovski Crystals

    Final Product: What You Will Create
    Preface:
    These steps will show you have to turn a neckline FSL design into a necklace fit for any special occasion. Choose from two of our featured designs or get a pack of designs. Use metallic thread to stitch out the design of your choosing on water-soluble stabilizer. Soak the final design in warm water until the stabilizer dissolves. Leave to dry.


    Step 1:
    Begin Necklace Assembling
    Gather four jump rings, one necklace clasp, and two 3.5" pieces of jewelry chain. You may need to use your wire cutters to cut your jewelry chain to size.

    Step 2:
    Attach Necklace Chain to FSL
    Use needle nose pliers to open jump ring. Slip one link of necklace chain and FSL onto
    jump ring. Close with pliers. Repeat on other side.


    Step 3:
    Attach Necklace Clasp to Ends of Necklace Chain
    Use needle nose pliers to open jump ring. Slip unattached end of necklace chain and one end of the necklace clasp onto jump ring. Close with pliers. Repeat on other side.



    Step 4:
    Wear your finished design on your next date night or to a special event.


    Step 5:
    Add Rhinestones
    Want a little more glitz to your necklace? Use jewelry glue to add rhinestones to your necklace. Let dry until glue is clear, then wear to your next event.
