Final Product: What You Will Create

    Step 1:
    Center:
Use any design along with 4x4 center. Sew design first then remove the hoop (do not unhoop) from the machine turn hoop over. The bottom of the hoop will be facing up .

    Step 2:
Place the Insul-Brite (4×4 piece) over the bottom with the aluminum side facing up.

    Step 3:
Place Baby Dry on top, with fuzzy side down having it face to face with the aluminum side of the insulation.

    Step 4:
The smooth vinyl side will be the only thing showing. I secured it all with masking tape.

    Step 5:

Put hoop back into the machine and sew the next two colors. Take out of the machine and, like an applique trim close to the outline both top and underneath. Place back into the machine and complete.

    Step 6:
Sides – do this for the Left and Right sides: Hoop fabric on top, insulation under and Baby Dry under all making a sandwich. Sew first and second color, take out of the machine, and trim both top and underside close to the line. Next you need to put on the Velcro. This is placed differently for each side.

    Step 7:
    Left Side Velcro
Place a 4″ strip on the Underside of the hoop, on the placement line going up and down. Secure with masking tape, place back into the machine and finish sewing.
    Right Side Velcro
Place 2nd part of Velcro On the Topside of the hoop, on the placement line going up and down. Secure with masking tape, put back into the machine and finish sewing.

    Step 8:

Take all 3 piece and line them up with the Velcro at the outer edges (left Velcro under – hidden and right Velco on top- showing) with the design piece in the middle, then stitch edges with a zig zag stitch or by hand with a whip stitch.

    Step 9:

5×7 Hoop (2 hoopings, zigzag stitched together)
Left Side: Hoop fabric and sew design. Remove from machine and place insulation directly under and Baby Dry under all with vinyl side down and secure all with masking tape (if you place your hand under the hoop, you can feel the vinyl). This will be the moisture-proof part facing the beverage.

    Step 10:

Place back in the machine and sew the next two colors. Take out before the last color, and trim the edge closely as in an applique both on top and the underside. Take a 4″ piece (prickly part) of Velcro and secure under the hoop on the placement stitch going up and down.

    Step 11:

    Right Side
: Hoop fabric, insulation under and Baby Dry under all. Secure with masking tape and sew first 2 colors. Take out of the machine and trim close to the edges of the stitching, both top and underside. Take 2nd part of Velcro and secure on top with masking tape. Finish sewing.

    Step 12:

Place the two pieces with Velcro on outer edges and zigzag stitch or whip stitch together. Left Velcro side under (hidden), right Velcro side on top.

    Step 13:

6×10 Hoop – One piece in-the-hoop Hoop fabric and sew design. Take out of the machine and place the insulation under and Baby Dry under all with the Vinyl part facing down. Secure with masking tape and sew the next two colors. (There will be one color remaining – don’t sew that yet.) Take out of the machine and trim closed to the stitching as in an applique. Take one part of a 4″ piece of Velcro and place it under right side of the hoop on the placement line going up and down. Secure with masking tape. Next, take the other piece and place it on top of the right side of the hoop, on the placement line. Secure it then sew the final color.

    Step 14:

Note: On all of these the Velcro should only be showing on top on the right side when completed. The other part of Velco will be on the left underside. Left Velcro under and Right Velcro on top.
