Open and print Can Koozie Template PDF
file. You will need 8 1/2" x 14" paper or you can print it on 8 1/2" x
11" paper and tape the two pieces together. Use the template to cut your
neoprene fabric.
Step 2:
Spray one piece of cutaway backing with spray adhesive.
Step 3:
Place the second piece of cutaway backing on top of the sprayed piece and press down firmly.
Step 4:
Hoop the 2 pieces of backing.
Step 5:
Sew the first color stop.

Place the neoprene face down and spray the back of one of the squares only.

Place the sprayed neoprene square down onto the backing inside the dieline.

Embroider the tackdown stitches.

Sew the design until you reach the color stop that asks you to "Stop place applique"

Add a thin line of fabric glue between the tackdown line and edge of fabric on the left and right sides of the koozie.
Step 11:
Fold the bottom part of the koozie up so it is lined up face to face with the top square.
Hold for 30 seconds for the glue to adhere.

Sew the last color stop to sew the 2 sides together.

Remove the koozie from the hoop.

Gently tear or cutaway the backing from the koozie
