    Preface:
    Happy Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving is time when people give thanks for all the wonderful things that have happened in the last year. It is also a time to enjoy a variety of delicious foods around a festive table. This table runner features embroidery designs from the "My First Thanksgiving Embroidery Design Pack". There are cute Pilgrims and native Americans gathering together for their very first Thanksgiving Feast.

I hope you enjoy creating this unique table runner for you and your guest to enjoy Thanksgiving.

You can create a Nativity Scene Table Runner by using the same instructions. This table runner features embroidery designs from the "Nativity Scenes (In The Hoop) Embroidery Design Pack".

    Step 1:
Cut fabric to the desired table size.

    Step 2:

On the bottom fabric sew a row of stitching ¼" from the raw edge around all four edges of the fabric.

    Step 3:
Double fold your fabric using the ¼" stitching as your guide line and sew a ¼" hem around the entire piece of fabric.

    Step 4:
On the top fabric sew a row of stitching ¾" from the raw edge around all four edges of the fabric. Then sew a second row of stitching right next to the first row of stitches.

    Step 5:

With a seam ripper pull threads until you get to your stitching line. This creates a frayed edge around the length and the width of your runner.

    Step 6:
Sew your favorite embroidery designs on the top piece of fabric.

    Step 7:

Now all that is left is to place the completed bottom and top table runner pieces in the center of your table. Then add your china, delicious food, and guest to complete a great pattern for your Holiday festivities. Enjoy!
