ITH Machine Embroidery Design

Materials

2 rectangles of fabric 4x4"

• Fabric Scarps for the applique Key Ring

• Mustache Rope

• 1” x 3” piece of fabric for a ring holder

Designs used in this project

Final Product: What You Will Create

Step 1:

On the stabilizer embroider the silhouette of the cat.

Step 2:

Place a rectangle of fabric on top of the silhouette of the cat and stitch.

Place the fabric scrap for the heart applique and stitch. Trim heart design.

Step 3:

Take the 1”X 3” piece of fabric and fold in ½. Press. Fold the outer edges into the center

and top stitch 1/8” along the open edge. Fold in ½ and attach to the center of the cat’s

head and hold it in place with a piece of adhesive tape. (The folded piece should be

facing down on the cat’s head.)

Step 4:

Take the second piece of 4”X4” fabric and place it with the right sides together on top of the design and stitch in place.
