Description

Materials
  • 5” x 7” - 6” x 10” - 7” x 12”.
  • Fabric in your favorite colors.
  • 2.5-ounce Cut-away Stabilizer.
  • Batting.
  • Repositionable adhesive spray.
  • Fabric scissors.

    Preface:

    This is a collaboration between ITH Boutique and Emerson



    Step 1:

    For the Tail part tautly hoop 2.5-ounce cutaway stabilizer in your embroidery hoop, and run color-stop 1 as a placement line. Cover the placement line with khaki fabric with the help of repositionable adhesive spray and run color-stop 2.

    Step 2:

    Remove the hoop from the machine, do not unhoop. Cover the project with khaki fabric with the help of the repositionable adhesive spray, and run color-stop 3.

    Step 3:

    Remove the project from the hoop and cut the outline with sharp scissors leaving a homogeneous margin. And turn the piece inside out like a sock.

    Step 4:

    For the body part tautly hoop 2.5-ounce cutaway stabilizer in your embroidery hoop, and run color-stop 1 as a placement line. Cover the placement line with batting with the help of the repositionable adhesive spray, and run color-stop 2.

    Step 5:

    Cover the placement line with khaki fabric with the help of a repositionable adhesive spray and run color-stop 3.

    Step 6:

    Run color-stop 4 as a placement line, cover the placement line with printed fabric with the help of repositionable adhesive spray, and run color-stop 5.

    Step 7:

    Run color-stop 6 through color-stop 8.

    Step 8:

    Run color-stop 9 as a placement line, put a ribbon in that line with the help of repositionable adhesive spray, and run color-stop 10.

    Step 9:

    Run color-stop 11 as a placement line, put the tail in that line with the help of repositionable adhesive spray, and run color-stop 12.

    Step 10:

    Remove the hoop from the machine, do not unhoop. Cover the back of the hoop with fabric with the help of the repositionable adhesive spray and run color-stop 13.

    Step 11:

    Remove the project from the hoop and cut the outline with sharp scissors leaving a homogeneous margin. And turn the piece inside out like a sock.

    Step 12:

    For the pocket part tautly hoop 2.5-ounce cutaway stabilizer in your embroidery hoop, and run color-stop 1 as a placement line. Cover the placement line with batting with the help of the repositionable adhesive spray, and run color-stop 2.

    Step 13:

    Cover the placement line with printed fabric with the help of a repositionable adhesive spray and run color-stop 3.

    Step 14:

    Run color-stop 4 as a placement line, cover the placement line with fuchsia fabric with the help of a repositionable adhesive spray, and run color-stop 5. Cut the excess fabric and run color-stop 6.

    Step 15:

    Cover the project with a printed fabric facing down, and run color-stop 7.

    Step 16:

    Remove the project from the hoop and cut the outline with sharp scissors leaving a homogeneous margin. And turn the piece inside out like a sock.

    Step 17:

    We put all the pieces together.

    Step 18:

    Close the piece with the help of a needle and thread or some type of textile glue and join the pocket part at the body of the little cat as they are arranged in the image.
