Remove the hoop from the machine, do not unhoop. Spray adhesive on one piece of the fabric and position over the placement lines.

    Step 4:

Turn the hoop over. Spray adhesive on the Battilizer® and position over the back of the hoop. Spray adhesive on the remaining fabric and align over the Battilizer®.

    Step 5:

Return the hoop to the machine and run CS 2 to stitch the tree.

    Step 6:

Remove the project from the hoop. Trim all the way around the tree with pinking shears about 1/8th to ¼” from the stitching. It is easiest to trim in individual sections of the tree rather than trying to go around the whole tree in one fell swoop. Take caution to not cut the outline stitching.

    Step 7:
Cut a 60” length of the jute rope. Thread your hand sewing needle. Using beeswax on the thread will help it keep from tangling while sewing the button to the tree and through the rope.
Align the button over the top of the tree and position the center of the jute rope behind the tree. Take 4 or 5 stitches through all at the same time.

    Step 8:
Measure down 5” along the rope to stitch the second tree to the rope.

    Step 9:
Continue adding each tree 5” apart on either side of the center tree.
