Horoscope Notebook Cover Embroidery Project

Gather all your materials and read through the instructions before you begin. Have a copy of the color sequence on hand for the embroidery stitch out. 

Measure your notebook, ensuring you include any spin measurement. Cut your vinyl to size 

Mark the center of the front section of the vinyl, so for this you will want to measure only the front width of your notebook and mark the halfway point of this measurement. This will indicate the center of the embroidery design on the front cover. 

Hoop your stabilizer only, then spray the back of your vinyl and position on your stabilizer ensuring the center mark you made is centered in your hoop

Stitch out the design

Caution if your notebook has rounded corners, you will want to match your vinyl to the same shape by tracing around then cutting

Again using the spray adhesive, this time for permanent fixing, follow the spray adhesive manufacturer instructions which likely suggest spraying both surfaces and leaving them for a few minutes then adhering them together. To do this, lay the vinyl right side down and position the notebook along one edge and slowly lower down onto the vinyl, pressing hard as you go to ensure a firm bond. Leave to dry
