FSL Purse add-on Embroidery Project

Gather the materials and read through the instructions before beginning. Have a copy of the color sequence on hand to refer to. For FSL I always wind the bobbin with the same embroidery thread as you can see both sides of the FSL design.

Hoop the water dissolvable backing and stitch out the FSL design. Once complete, remove the design from the hoop and cut away the backing from around the design. Soak in water as per instructions for the backing and allow to dry flat.

Position the FSL design on the purse, angled as per picture, and pin in place. Unzip the purse and stitch the FSL in place, it can be a little tricky if it’s a small purse so take caution when stitching.

Handstitch the “male” snap to the top corner of the flap of the FSL. Then mark the prong of the snap with some chalk and fold over the flap, press down on the snap for it to mark the purse which will indicate where to stitch the “female” snap to. Handstitch the “female” snap to the purse.

Your unique purse is now complete and even suitable for a formal event.
