Use your embroidery skills and create these handmade embroidery hoop ornaments in no time. You can use remnant pieces of heavy weight cotton fabric that you have in your fabric stash to embroider the Bear Family Designs. Center and hoop the stitched out designs on 4” embroidery hoops, cut a piece of twine, loop it through the top of the embroidery hoops and they are ready to hang. (The time stated of 1h30m is for completion of the three hoop ornaments.)
Step 1:
Gather all supplies and review instructions before beginning.

Step 2:
Cut (3) 8 x 8” squares from your heavy weight cotton fabric

Step 3:
Embroidering the designs
Cut a piece of stabilizer and hoop.

Step 4:
Using one of the 8” x 8” fabric squares make a folded crosshair by folding in half. Fingertip press. Fold in half again.

Step 5:
Lightly spray temporary adhesive spray atop stabilizer. Center place fabric square matching axis points of crosshair to your hoop markings. Fingertip smooth and press to adhere.

Step 6:
Load one of bear designs into your machine. You will be stitching out 3 designs. ( Papa, Mama and Baby Bear) Each design will take approx 12 minutes based on 600 SPM( Stitches Per Minute) Attach hoop to machine. Confirm center needle placement. Begin the embroidering process.

Step 7:
Design complete. Remove hoop from machine. Cut and trim all jump stitches and thread ends. Remove stabilizer.

Step 8:
Repeat steps 3 - 7 for the other two bear designs.

Step 9:
Backing
Cut (3) 8” x 8” squares from your backing cotton fabric.

Step 10:
Construction of Ornament With wrong sides together lay one embroidered design square onto your backing fabric.

Step 11:
Place fabric square over inner hoop. Centering embroidered design within the hoop area. Place the outer hoop over the ring. Using both hands press it down onto the inner hoop. Once it's centered to your liking then tighten the screw.

Step 12:
Turn over hoop and trim excess fabric around hoop.

Step 13:
Cut (1) 10” lengths of twine. Loop through screw hardware of hoop and tie a knot close to the ends.

Step 14:
