Description

Simple and inexpensive luminaries to make for your Halloween themed table décor to welcome your Trick or Treaters!

Materials
  • 12” X 12” WHITE CARDSTOCK
  • (3) WHITE PAPER BAGS ( SMALL 3 ½”X 6 ½”)
  • GLUE STICK
  • CUTTING MACHINE (SILHOUETTE CAMEO, CRICUT )
  • (3) TEALIGHTS ( Battery Operated)

    Final Product: What You Will Create

    Preface:
    A quick and easy paper bag luminary tutorial using Halloween themed SVG/Print Art designs and your cutting machine .


    Step 1:
    Gather all supplies and review instructions before beginning.
    * Basic knowledge of a cutting machine and how to prepare cardstock for stencil is needed.

    Step 2:
    Bring into your cutting machine per your cutting machines program instruction the three designs.

    Step 3:
    Add a rectangle around each design the same size as the front of your bag. Resize your designs to center fit within the rectangle.

    Step 4:
    Trace outer edge of your designs ( per your cutting machine's program instructions) and cut out onto your white card stock.

    Step 5:
    “Weed” by punching out your designs from the card stock . ( Black background in picture shown so that you can clearly see the designs)
     
     *Weeding card stock is the process of removing the unwanted card stock from your cut design.

    Step 6:
    Use your glue stick to glue the FRONT of the design to the INSIDE FRONT of your paper bag. Repeat for the remaining designs.

    Step 7:
    And you are done! Make additional luminaries for your Halloween table décor’ using other SVG/Print Art designs from the Embroidery Design website. Happy Halloween!
