Description

Add a touch of farmhouse finesse to your kitchen using these fun farmhouse embroidery designs stitched onto flour sack towels.

  • TEAR AWAY STABILIZER
  • (2) FLOUR SACK TOWELS ( 28” X 28”)
  • ADHESIVE MARKING DOTS OR AIR ERASE FABRIC PEN
  • EMBROIDERY THREAD (WHITE AND BLACK)

    Final Product: What You Will Create

    Preface:
    Easy and simple to follow tutorial along with two color thread change embroidery designs makes this project a simple stitch out for the beginner embroiderers. 


    Step 1:
    Gather all supplies and review the instructions before beginning

    Step 2:
    Print out template of the Farm Fresh Milk design

    Step 3:
    Iron press flour sack towel to remove wrinkles. Then fold in half and iron press a center crease.

    Step 4:
    Center position (center creased fold line) your design template 4” up from bottom of towel to bottom of template.

    Step 5:
    Mark center, axis lines sides, top and bottom using your adhesive marking dots or air erase pen.

    Step 6:
    Cut a piece of  tear away stabilizer larger than your hoop. Together with towel atop stabilizer, center and hoop.

    Step 7:
    Load design into your machine. Enlarge design to 120% per your machine’s instructions

    Step 8:
    Attach hoop to machine. Confirm center needle placement. ( remove adhesive marking dots if used)

    Step 9:
    Begin the embroidering process.

    Step 10:
    Embroidering complete. Remove hoop. Cut and trim all jump stitches and loose thread ends. Remove tear away stabilizer.

    Step 11:
