Gather the materials and read through the instructions before beginning. The cotton muslin produce bag was purchased on Amazon and is sold by ATBAY Express. The cute bus cookie cutter was also purchased on Amazon and is sold by Ann Clark Cookie Cutters. The Wilton cello bags can be purchased at JoAnn fabrics, Michaels, Walmart, or other stores that sell Wilton products.

Step 2:
Text was added in embroidery software before the design was exported for embroidery. If you don’t have embroidery software, do this step in the machine after loading the embroidery design on the machine. Open the software, import the bus design. Using the text feature in the software, type what you wish. Align and center the text to the bus design. Save the design and print a paper template of the design. Export the design for stitching.

Step 3:
The bag purchased had a fold at the bottom. Cut off the fold to open up the bottom and unpick the stitching on the sides of the bag just enough to be able to hoop the front of the bag. Press the fabric well.

Step 4:
For the project bag, a 1” boxed bottom is being added. Fold up the bottom of the bag 1 ¼” (1” for the bottom and ¼” seam allowance). Now place the fold at the bottom of the casing at the top of the bag and crease along the fold; this will find the center of the bag front. Now fold the bag in half lengthwise and crease to find the center of the bag.

Step 5:
Center and hoop the front of the bag with two layers of tearaway stabilizer. Load the design on the machine and then align the needle to the template.

Step 6:
Stitch the design following the color sequence.

Step 7:
After the design has finished stitching, remove the excess stabilizer. With right sides together, pin the cut edges together and stitch following the original stitching line. Box the bottom of the bag doing a 1” box at the corner.

Step 8:
Use your favorite sugar cookie recipe to mix and cut the cookies using the bus cookie cutter. Bake and frost the cookies as desired. Place one cookie in a cello bag and place them in the bag. Wash the cookie cutter and attach it to the bag along with the tag that came with it. Tie up the embroidered bag and wrap in a gift box.

Step 9:
