One half of a yard of the white Kona Cloth® worked well in the sample as it fit in the 8” x 8” embroidery hoop. You will need 5/8th of a yard if you are working with a 12” x 7” or 12” x 8” embroidery hoop. If you are using a larger hoop purchase fabric the width you need to fully hoop the fabric in the hoop. In all cases the white fabric will be trimmed down to the appropriate width after the embroidery designs are stitched to complete the table runner.
Step 1:
Cut Indigo fabric 18” by the width of the fabric. Cut White Kona Cloth® the depth to fit your embroidery hoop by the width of the fabric Cut the fusible knit interfacing the length and width of the White Kona cloth Fuse the knit interfacing to the back of the white fabric following the manufacturer’s instructions.
Step 2:
Press a crease vertically and horizontally in the white fabric. Make a mark in the center of the fabric and 8.75” away from the center on the horizontal line both sides of the center mark.
