A lovely 7” ring bearer pillow with your choice of the sweet sentiments of “Today I Marry My Best Friend”, “With This Ring”, or without lettering, a quick project that is sure to please the bride.
Step 1:
Fuse the knit interfacing to the linen. Draw an 8” square with cross hairs in the center approximately 4” from the end of the fabric.

Step 2:
Lay your hoop over the drawn square. Measure out 3” to 4” from the hoop to cut the fabric to ensure you have enough fabric to hoop the whole square.

Step 3:
Hoop the no show stabilizer and the linen fabric in your embroidery hoop aligning your drawn cross hairs with the guides on your hoop.

Step 4:
Align the center of your cross hairs with the embroidery needle.

Step 5:
Embroider the wreath following the color chart except for the last two color stops.

Step 6:
The next to last color stop is a placement mark for the ribbon. This would be sewn in white, but pink was used in the sample so that you can see it in the photograph.

Step 7:
Place the center of your ribbon across the placement mark and tape in place.

Step 8:
Stitch the ribbon into place with the last color stop. This would normally be white or match the color of your ribbon.

Step 9:
Fold up your ribbon and tape down within the wreath.

Step 10:
Remove the project from the hoop. Trim the stabilizer from around the embroidery. Place the embroidered fabric over the remaining fabric wrong sides together. Cut through both layers of linen along your drawn square lines.

Step 11:
Place the pillow squares right sides together and pin, position your pins to remind you to leave a 4” opening at the bottom of the pillow for turning.

Step 12:
Stitch around the pillow with a ½” seam allowance leaving the 4” opening.

Step 13:
Trim off the corners close to the stitching.

Step 14:
Turn the pillow right side out using a point turner to push out the corners.

Step 15:
Press the pillow top to press the seams and remove the Frixion® marker.

Step 16:
Stuff the pillow with poly fill.

Close the opening with a ladder stitch.
