Materials
  • Store brought hand towel
  • Walter soluble stabilizer
  • Light weight cut away stabilizer
  • Embroidery thread
  • Embroidery software (OPT) 
  • Grommet
  • Grommet setter tool

  • Designs used in this project

    Preface:
    This is the perfect gift for that special someone who loves golf!   So many embroidery designs to choose from to
    make this a one of a kind towel!


    Step 1:
    Gather all materials and review instructions before beginning.

    Step 2:
    Print out a template of your design. Place on a towel to mark placement. I placed my design template in the bottom right hand corner.

    Step 3: 
    Mark center of your design and your vertical and horizontal access lines. Place towel on top of lightweight cut away stabilizer. Place water soluble stabilizer on top. 
    Hoop all three layers matching center mark and vertical and horizontal access lines.

    Step 4:
    Load design.


    Step 5:
    Attach hoop to machine and begin embroidering.

    Step 6:
    Embroidering complete. Remove hoop from machine. 
    Cut all jump stitches and loose thread ends. Remove water soluble and cut away stabilizer.

    Step 7:
    To add grommet. Placement upper left-hand corner. Follow manufactures instructions to apply.

    Step 8:
    Your golf towel is finished!
